BEVERLY, Mass.-- American Renal Associates Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ARA), a leading national provider of outpatient dialysis services, announced the opening of its 200th dialysis clinic in Schererville, Indiana.
“Opening our 200th dialysis clinic is a significant milestone for us at ARA,” said Joseph (Joe) Carlucci, Chairman and CEO of ARA. “We founded ARA over 16 years ago based on an operating philosophy – our Core Values – that puts patient care first. The opening of our 200th dialysis clinic illustrates that we continue to successfully build our physician-driven partnerships to bring quality dialysis care to local communities like Schererville. We are proud to partner with Northwest Indiana Nephrology, which shares in our Core Values and serves their patients with clinical autonomy.”
The new Schererville Dialysis Center is a state-of-the-art facility that has capabilities to offer patients a variety of treatment modalities including in-center hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) and home hemodialysis. The facility will operate under the direction of Dr. Kristoph Giricz as Medical Director.
“We chose to partner with ARA after interviewing many organizations because they have exhibited a 16 year track record of physician satisfaction focusing on quality care,” said Dr. Kristoph Giricz. “The opening of Schererville Dialysis Center allows us to provide high-quality dialysis care to patients who choose to receive services at a modern facility staffed with dedicated caregivers. We look forward to growing our presence in the Northwest Indiana region through our ARA partnership.”
