American Renal Opens New Facility in Ohio

DANVERS, MA - American Renal Associates Inc. (“ARA”) today announced the opening of Chillicothe Regional Dialysis Center, the fourth location opened and operated by ARA in Ohio.

Joe Carlucci, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of ARA, said, “We are delighted to open this very beautiful and state-of-the-art facility along with Dr. Frank Cosentino, the areas pre-eminent nephrologist, and his wife Cindy, a very knowledgeable and skilled administrator. Dr. Cosentino has been practicing in the area for quite a while and we believe he has brought a very high standard of care to this area.”

Dr. Frank Cosentino commented, “During the past year I have worked with the team at American Renal and have found they understand the need to support us as physicians while allowing me and my staff the autonomy to practice as we see appropriate. They bring the necessary experience and skill set to help me ensure high quality care for my patients.”

ARA’s main focus is the development of new start-up (de novo) treatment facilities in partnership with physicians, and the acquisition of existing dialysis units in selective strategic markets.
