American Renal Associates Opens a New Facility in
New Orleans, Louisiana

BEVERLY, MA - American Renal Associates Inc. (“ARA”) today announced the opening of the New Orleans Kidney Center, a new outpatient facility located in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana.  The facility is now admitting patients after passing all regulatory requirements without any deficiencies. This is the 8th facility opened by ARA in 2007 and ARA’s 1st facility in the State of Louisiana.

The New Orleans Kidney Center offers 15 hemodialysis stations and both peritoneal and home dialysis programs.  The facility is located in the Buckman building, Suite 200, across from the emergency room of Touro Infirmary.  Patients and staff may park in the Delachaise garage conveniently located adjacent to the Buchman Building.  This beautiful facility offers the latest in state-of-the-art technology including: heated massage chairs, individual patient flat screen TV with cable reception, individual radios with Sirius Satellite service, the latest Fresenius manufactured dialysis machines, DVD players, and wireless access for patients with wireless internet along with a very experienced and dedicated staff.

Three experienced nephrologists oversee the facility.  In speaking with Frank Cruz M.D.; Frank C.
