American Renal Opens in Milwaukee;
8th New Start Facility in 2005

DANVERS, MA - American Renal Associates Inc. (“ARA”) today announced the opening of the Milwaukee Dialysis Center, a new facility located at 4775 North Green Bay Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of Milwaukee Dialysis Center in partnership with Drs. Paul Jenkins and Debesh C. Mazumdar”, said Joe Carlucci, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of ARA. “Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Mazumdar have been practicing in Milwaukee for more than 25 years. They have developed a robust practice and have a wonderful reputation. We are happy they joined us and we will do everything in our power to provide the best possible services to their patients. This is ARA’s first facility in Wisconsin and our eighth new start-up dialysis facility opened this year.”

Paul Jenkins, M.D., stated, “ARA is an impressive team with extensive experience. ARA provides the management support necessary to successfully operate our facility.” Debesh Mazumdar, M.D. added, “working with ARA allows us the opportunity to devote the time necessary to meet the clinical needs of the patients and we look forward to doing this.”

ARA’s main focus is to develop new start-up (de novo) treatment facilities in partnership with physicians, and the acquisition of existing dialysis units in selective strategic markets.
