American Renal Demonstrates Continued Growth in 2006

BEVERLY, MA - American Renal Associates Inc. (“ARA”) today announced continued growth and expansion both on a facility and corporate level throughout the first three quarters of 2006. ARA’s main focus is to develop new start-up (de novo) treatment facilities in partnership with nephrologists and to acquire existing dialysis units in selective strategic markets. The company provides nephrologists the management necessary to operate quality facilities while allowing them the ability to focus on their patients’ clinical care.

The company has already opened eight (8) facilities this year with more in the pipeline to be opened before the end of the 2006. ARA has opened four de novo clinics this year in the following locations: Hilliard, Florida; Middleburg, Florida; Spartanburg, South Carolina and Waltham, Massachusetts. ARA has also opened four clinics through acquisition in the state of Rhode Island in the following locations: Wakefield, Warwick, Westerly and Woonsocket. On the subject of ARA’s fast continued growth, Joseph A. In view of the company’s continued growth on a facility level, ARA has been hiring experienced staff at both the clinic as well as corporate levels throughout 2006. In order to accommodate its growing staff needs, ARA recently moved its corporate offices from its previous location in Danvers, MA to a larger space in nearby Beverly, MA.
