American Renal Opens 40th Facility

DANVERS, MA – The founders of American Renal Associates Inc. (“ARA”) today announced that the company recently opened two new dialysis facilities and now operates 40 clinics throughout the United States. The two newest dialysis facilities are located in Johnston, Rhode Island and Crystal Lake, Illinois. ARA operates six facilities in Rhode Island and two in Illinois.

ARA co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Joe Carlucci, commented, “ARA is focused on opening new facilities on schedule, on budget and without deficiencies. We are very proud of ARA’s track record and the team of professionals associated with each and every facility. Thus far, we have opened six facilities this year and have others well along in the process.”

ARA’s main focus is the development of new start-up (de novo) treatment facilities in partnership with physicians, and the acquisition of existing dialysis units in selective strategic markets.
